Horizons Homework Club in Terenure is our after school care club on our campus in Terenure College. We collect your child from Primary school and look after them for the afternoon. On school holidays we have a full day service. There is a 10 month school year or full year 12 month option. We have age appropriate Junior and Senior clubs split across two buildings. OUR SERVICE

Horizons Homework Club is South Dublin’s leading school pick up service and after school care service for the children of Terenure National Schools.

We have our own campus of two buildings on the grounds on Terenure College.

Our facilities are state of the art, custom built schools and activity centres.

We pick up, provide a hot meal and supervised homework for children from junior infants to fourth class.

Every afternoon we provide a range of sporting and creative arts activities.

We collect children from four schools in Terenure.

Our Clubhouse building caters for all our Junior and Senior Infant children.

The children are dropped to us by our fully insured and registered bus service. The children then receive a hot meal from “Little Dinners“.

They then complete their homework under the supervision of fully qualified teachers and assistants.

Once their homework is complete we have a full range of activities for the children in the afternoon.

In 2017 we opened our new additional six classroom Homework Club building for 1st to 4th class students.

There is a separate classroom for each year and the building is surrounded by a soft astro surface.

A quick step through the gate and we have exclusive access to the huge grass area for outdoor sports!

Horizons understand the importance of good nutrition for a child’s physical and mental development.

For children who avail of any of our full day services in Montessori or Summer Camp, as well as Homework Club  attendees, the meals are provided by Little Dinners.

They are healthy meals provided by a specialist manufacturer based in Wicklow.

Little Dinners have created over 30 basic recipes, with variations for vegetarians and other special dietary requirements.

This results in a menu which provides providing the children with a balance of variety and familiarity.

We use Little Dinners because of their high standards when it comes to food preparation following the Dept. of Health “Food and Nutritional Guidelines for Pre-School Services”.

Special requirements based on parental preference, cultural or religious beliefs and health or allergy issues are catered for.

  • No salt, sugar, preservatives
  • No artifical flavourings, colours
  • Made using their own stocks and sauces
  • All food ingredients sourced form HACCP compliant suppliers
